I have just updated to the PS4 BETA and it seemed to be OK.. After the update, the VR breakout box automatically updates from 2.00 to 2.40 which is expected.
But then I finally checked out "I expect you to die" and it was unplayable as the Move tracking was all over the place...
Eventually I gave up, assuming it was a badly written game.. But just to check, I loaded Job Simulator and it was the same.. As a final check, I loaded Fruit Ninja and again it was the same.. The Move tracking is aweful.
The tracking starts out fine.. But one (or both) of the virtual hands starts to point the wrong way.. Then it all gets a bit jittery.. and finally the hands shoot all over the place (About 6 feet in virtual space)..
If you then shake the controllers hard, it settles down, but only for a bit.
I have since gone back to 4.07 and luckily it goes back to normal.. So it seems that 4.50 is far from ready yet. So if you are a VR/Move player (and I assume it will have the same effect with DS4 tracking too), avoid 4.50.
I just hope that enough people report this to Sony and they will fix it before launch.. if not, this problem will render PSVR useless!
