Already have all of these (except The Matrix which is one of the ugliest looking steelbooks I have ever seen) , presumably they will be the same designs that they released in Canada last year.

Think it maybe similar to the German Digibook collection.

I think these will be like the Best Buy exclusives. If there's one thing we know it's that film studios are lazy and that means re-using the same artwork over and over. I hope they are like the digibooks though. Whilst I'm not the greatest fan of the design, at least it wouldn't be the same designs again.

Will be buying a few of these and glad I held off buying elsewhere.

Moral of the story - dont buy any back-catalogue bog-standard amarays! :)

Hoping they will be around the ten quid mark, in which case I will get Sherlock Holmes to go with the HMV exclusive steelbook of Sherlock Holmes 2 that I have, will probably get 300 as well.

i think im gonna be sick....without doubt they will be the same as the best buys, i have no doubt there.

god im gonna have to wait for the artwork to show - but i think ill have a few canadian steels for sale soon, as i wont keep them if they are the same artwork and the completist inside me will have to have the uk ones even if the only difference is the wording on the data sheet.

also 10000 bc getting a 2nd steelbook release some 4 years after nobody bought the first one? ugh.

oh and im starting to think importing steels is a waste of time - since ive started ive seen loads be re-released or given dates here - the paramount steels and now these wb steels.

its becoming a joke at how many are getting released tbh. if these are released before xmas then its getting to the one per week average i said i would stop at. if they arent special any more, than whats the use?

Im quite glad importing steels is becoming a waste of time! It is getting to the point where Im too scared to import anything because there will be probably be UK release any second. Its good...well not good for my bank balance! :D

Agreed. Surely the more steel books they release here the better?

Just sold my Inception best buy on the back of this. I do hope these have inside art. Still have a few of the best buy ones but in for a few of these, especially Blade Runner :)

Inception likely. Although I seem to have bought it three times in various formats.... Only seen it once, too.

I own the German version of Inception which looks amazing, so i'll stick with that one. I also own Canadian versions of 300, Heat, 10000 BC, I Am Legend and rest already have perfectly good steelbooks available already. I don't think i'll be ordering any of these, especially if they turn out to be inferior versions of what's already released. If they do have the white artwork, then I may be tempted on a couple, but that all depends on price. That's the only good thing about all these UK waves, they've all been very reasonably priced.

These are going to be pretty expensive I believe - certainly not in the same price low bracket as the Universal and Paramount catalogue steelbooks.

    Clash of the Titans
    The Last Samurai
    Troy

AGH just after i order troy from amazon canada.

well i will just sell it right away then, and my best buy last samurai. im not even fussed if its different artwork i dont want to have 2 copies of any movie on bluray steelbook unless its a uk re-release.

guess my german clash will go for sale too, shame as i like that one.

with these 4 and the itv wave, im becoming bored of trying to keep the 100% collection - and being a completist if i cant keep up, then i dont want any. and that is a scary thought.

they have been £15.99 all week at sainsburys.

its still too much though - these arent going to sell out anytime soon, so im looking forward to not having to preorder to guarentee getting them and once they drop to £12 then i will grab them.

the only way i would pay more is if i sell my canadian/us ones and get £16 each after postage and fees etc so it would be a free swap to the uk one.

I've ordered six individual titles just to guarantee them but I'm keeping an eye on Amazon. They're usually cheaper than Play and I would prefer to deal with them if I can.
