Wanted : Microsoft Xbox advanced RGB scartlead or better , have heard the microsoft one is the best , I also like the look of the ixos one , and heard the monster cable one is over rated.

Ive got a third party switching box which does svideo , composite , and component and does coaxial and optical out for dolby digital , but the composite and svideo dont look very nice on my philips tv.

So let me know what you have got , or what you think looks best , needs to be RGB and have either coaxial and optical out as well. All advice gladly received

Doh , how much of a plank do I feel now
when I read your post I ran to the front room and pulled of the flap and plugged in my qued scart lead and its like night and day difference . Its lot easier on the eye now , and a nice picture to look at . I can see a few diagonal scan lines very close up like someone said they could see with their mad catz leads. So I might still be on the look out for a microsoft official lead or better but not so desperate now.
    thanks for your help justin

Thanks for checking matey but no offence meant , but I cant take the risk buying a lead that is not any better then I got now , I think shipping is going to be the killer here , the shop just up the road from me sells full rgb leads for £4.99 and £9.99 just not the microsoft advanced ones.

    thanks for offering anyways

The XBox in RGB is not that great anyway...miles behind the PS2 and GC. If you carry out a search, there's plenty about it on these forums.
    I use an svideo connection...

That is strange that you say that familyguy as the box I got it with it does svideo, composite ,component and what I didnt know till last night and was told by justin , who I bought it off , rgb through scart. Now for some reason my philips tv really doesnt like the composite or svideo signals to it as ive tried and made sure it was selected to the right input in the tv . Now ive switched to rgbscart last night its giving a pretty good picture and was just wondering if the microsoft lead could improve on that .

    thanks arjo
