Can recommend a site/store that can supply quality Di-poles at bargain prices?

    Models I'm currently considering are:-

    Kef TDM34DS
    Kef 65DS (Discontinued)
    B&W DS6

I'm currently using Kef Q55 fronts but have Kef Reference fronts in my future plans and would like the dipoles to remain in my new setup.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Do a search on the B&W dipoles ... I would not recommend to buy them.
If you are interested in a good overall sound match your rears with the (future) fronts, even you need to invest a bit more.
On a budget check out Mission 77DS (bi-poles actually) ...

For a match with KEF Reference fronts you really want to go for the TDM34DS and, anyway, it's the best of the three you listed. I picked up a pair for £550 from Sound & Vision a year or so ago.

The KEF website has a "Home Theatre Matching Guide" that shows which of their speakers go together best and confirms that the TDM34DS and any of the Reference fronts are spot on. Unfortunately the 65DS are not listed as they are discontinued.

Yes, the TDM34DS are my first choice. I spoke to Kef who says that they would also be an excellent tonal match for my existing Q55s, they don't list them as such because the price difference doesn't make them a sensible choice with the Qs.

As for price... I'll have to search hard for a bargain, or hope some appear on Ebay!

    Thanks for the response,

    Mark.

I would also reccomend the TDMs. Just added 2 pairs myself (ouch!) Worth saving up for in the long run, as they will keep you happy for a long time. I've bought cheaper speakers before, only to replace them within a year or so. Awesome sound, and a good match to what you already have,

    Rob
