Im thinking of upgrading my panasonic sky box to a Sky+ box.
    1) Can i just buy a new box and swap the card
    2) How many hours viewing does the Sky + box actually give you.

    Thanks let me know

    1. The Sky+ box needs an LNB (the receiver bit on the dish) with two outputs, and you need two cables running from the dish to the Sky+ box.

    2. The recording capacity on a standard Sky+ box is approximately 20 hours, but this is dependent on the bit-rate of the programmes that you record. Generally, programmes with a lot of movement and scene changes (i.e. sports) will have higher bit rates.
