    Hi

I'm upgrading my AV amp so I will have a Yamaha RX-V795ARDS to sell.

Does anyone have any idea how much I should expect to to get for this on say Ebay?

Its three years old and in very good condition.

    Thanks:smoke:

Don't know about Ebay but you're unlikely to get much more than 100 quid or so on here. Shame, as they are excellent amps (had one myself :) )

I sold a DSPA595A on ebay just over a year ago and got £160 for it, so you may get lucky.

    Hi

Do you mind if I ask what are you upgrading to?

Its just I have one, got a Yam630 but still use the 795a as it sounds better with my speakers

I don't know if its something to do with the fact the Yam630 now tries to power a 6th speaker which reduces the overall quality and the 795a only has to drive 5 speakers

But I prefer the 795a. Only benefit of the Yam630 was Pro-logic II but I don't use it now ( for music stereo sounds better and I don't watch TV with it )

I'm upgrading to a Yammy RXV440RDS. Funnily enaough I'm upgrading to get DPLII and NEOS 6, plus the option to add a sixth speaker!

I too love my 795A thats why I'm getting another Yamaha.

I don't think the 440 will sound as good as the 795a from my experience with the 630, but its something you can try

    Good luck

I have to agree with z546... The 440 is a good amp but I don't think it will give you any significant sound quality increase over your current amp. But you will get the better feature's like 6.1 and PL2, best thing is to demo it and see.

I'm not after a 'better quality' amp - I'm want something of equivalent quality but with extra features - i.e. 6.1, PLII, NEOS 6.

    Cheers
