    Interesting stuff. Quick question tho, on the AE300 screenshots there is a green dot on all the piccies. Do you know what this might be?

    Can't be a dead pixel on the AE300, because it's on another PJ.

    I guess one of the pixels in the digital camera has died (if they still use a LCD panel to capture?)

    Yep. I know of another forum member who was disappointed to see a green pixel on screenshots of his LCD pj. Despondent, he scoured his screen looking for it but found nothing. Seeing it on every shot he realised it was not a dead pixel on the pj at all but one of the CCD pixels on his digital camera. It probably is that.

    So, it's not just pjs that get worried by this.

    Worth noting in the comparison that the AE300 shots are slightly further away and that the AE300 look less sharp.

    Could it be that the photo were taken to make the difference more acute!!

    I've owned both, and can honestly say that the screendoor effect is noticably improved on the ae300, but not by that much. From the look of things, the AE100 there is in perfect focus, and the AE300 is not.
