LOL we have all been there. I was ment to get my RD65 on the friday and they changed it at the last minute to monday. To say I was unhappy with the delay was an understatement. I spent the whole weekend wondering what I would of been watching if I had the RD65. Needless to say I was up early on Monday morning :) Like you say sheep xmas time :)

Hi sheep - let me know how you get on with your comparisons, in particular the sharpness of the sammy vs the toshiba, as i've been seriously considering the samsung as a replacement for my Toshiba (which has now gone back). I've seen it in store several times and the setup makes a huge difference to the sharpness and overall performance and I really want to know how the samsung performs via HDMI/VGA.

    Cheers

You could use the time waiting to do some DIY, do the washing up, kick the cat....something that will pass the time :) Do you not have a games console or something to play on while you are waiting, that is what I used to do, and in no time at all the item arrives :).

I'm quite lucky, as I live in an area which seems to be the first or early drop off points for most of the courier companies in the area :).

I remember when I was waiting for SVS sub to arrive, the wife was at home and I kept calling her to find out if it had arrived yet LOL! We guys will NEVER change :D

well i have a basic setup(will try and post pics tonite)and initial results are as follows,i think its a cleaner image than the Tosh everything tends to stand out more clearly, colours are cleaner and more vibrant although possibly to much so,but im going to let it run in before messing around to much with the settings,i used to see the odd rainbow on the tosh when i flicked my eyes across the screen quickly especially on dark scenes, but with the sammy alls well so far,i will be honest backgrounds on the tosh in dark/bright scenes were often blocky and swirly??especially on solid colour backgrounds like white or black sorry im not a tech head and can only say what i saw,and also picture went quite blurry if the camera moved at any speed across the screen the sammy doesnt seem to suffer so far with any of these faults,i tested using daredevil scene 20 which is very busy and dark and first reactions are that the sammy handles it all a lot better, now this could be because i have new toy syndrome but im pretty objective as a rule and my first reaction on seeing daredevil was bl**dy hell thats lookin nice,i suppose it could be because the sammy is slightly bigger so gives more wow factor but at this stage i can honestly say that i prefer the "pq"(is that right lol)on the sammy than the tosh, skin tones seem better and blacks look well blacker if that makes sense?lol anyway will try to post pics later although dont know how yet lol
