I’m currently building a new house. Walls are yet to be plastered, and no cabling or electrics have been put in (in fact it doesn’t have a roof yet, but will soon). I’m planning to wall mount my LG OLED C8 55” TV. It’s a medium to small size room, watching from Sofa.

What are people’s thoughts on height? Also, and tips on the position of the hole/trunking for the cabling, and cable management in general? Thanks.

Or should I not bother and sit on a media bench/stand?

My tv is 28 1/2" off the floor which is a good height so i would suggest something in the region of 28-30".
