Hi. I'm looking to mount my Sony 49" TV onto a plasterboard wall. Ideally I would like it to be in a fixed position, I'm not looking for a mount that tilts etc so was considering the following:

The wall I'm mounting too is just a plasterboard wall, however, I'm not sure I can fix it to the stud work as they are all metal (assuming aluminium) so was considering using the GripIt fixings and using as many as the bracket will take.
Is this a sensible way to mount? Or are there better solutions out there?
