I have just purchased a pair of Q Compacts to use as rear left and right surrounds. They are to replace a pair of Q15's which are wall mounted with some old style brackets. The main reason I have replaced them is that they were too large and imposing for the room (they were also black which the Missus didn't like!)

The new Q's are perfect in many ways. However they now look silly perched upon what looks like 1970's wall brackets which are far too large and 'clunky' for the speakers.

I think the new speakers weigh about 4 kg each. Can anyone recommed a wall bracket which suits the Q Compacts. I've done a very brief search and found a few. These appear though that you need to attach part of the bracket to the back of the speaker, presumably by screwing. This sounds very unappealing since they're brand new.

Can anyone suggest any brackets or offer any alternative ideas ?

    Most grateful,
