I have one from RGB direct, it allows you to tilt the plasma on its top bar so you can get your wires connected once on the wall. I found this very useful, it is also very solid. It is £160 though.

Mal, been meaning to ask you this, Can you do this lifting/connecting thing on your own? Or do you need 2 people? I am reluctant to try it flying solo and Mrs Goblin refuses to take responsibility

If I unscrew the locking bolts, is it a one man job to just lift it free of the bottom slot? again as a solo activity can I then swing it up and add new connections?

thanks in advance (and apologies to Andy for the thread hijack :hiya: )

I have a TY-WK42PV3W which is the official Panny mount for the PV500. There are like rocking horse ****. I bought this but ended up using the PED (long story) these cost about £299. It's boxed and used and your for £220 if your interested.

If it fits, which I think it does. Av sales are doing a tilting mount for 99 quid including delivery.

You should be able to connect everything up when it's on the wall because the screen hangs off the bar at the top and the quality is great.

The link is at the top of the forum page.

I mounted my PV500 on an RS100 wall mount this weekend :)

As long as you have the extra depth bars if fits fine and needs no spacers. Simple straightforward mount but does the job. Although unlike the RGB one doesn't allow to tilt and put cables in after it is up. (Bizarrely got the panel from RGB and with Ped stand, another long story)

My missus helped me lift it on, I connected the wires, then I lifted it that extra inch myself to get it in the bottom slot.

Because the top slot is longer it will slide in to the bottom slots without it falling off the wall. As long you are not a weakling. :smashin:
