Thanks for the Review Cas. I remember seeing this a long time ago & being fascinated by it. I wonder how it will seem to me now.
(And, yep, Jenny Agutter is a strong part of the memory of this!)

P.S. All these Smilies exist for different skin- and hair colours, but where are the Bald versions, Emoji Gods! Tell me that!

Nice work on the review. With Second Sight really striding into 4K, it's frustrating that this is presented in 1080p.

Squinting for long periods will do that every time!

Childhood memories? That reminds me of a story I've posted before. The Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle used to show films for the kids every Saturday afternoon. We used to drop our son off then we'd do some shopping or go for a pint. The usual fare wold the likes of The Goonies and the original Japanese Godzilla films. One week I saw a poster for Walkabout as the next week's film. I said to the manager "Walkabout! For the kids?" He looked sheepish and mumbled "It was a mistake."

I ordered mine on 1 July. I can't remember what the release date was at that time, but it became "unavailable" for a couple of weeks before showing as 31 Aug

Good review thx, wouldnt give it a 9 personally, thought it very slow.

Nearly two years on still no sign of a 4K UHD release. Guess it's not going to happen at all, at least not from Second Sight anyway.
