Now correct me if i'm wrong but Asda (or is it tesco) are owned by wal-mart.

Have a quick read of this link which I found in another post:

http://avzombie.com/blog/2006/12/13/hdtv-boom-over-as-best-buy-disappoints/

Now I'm not a market expert for the US or anything and have no idea about the trade rules etc for the uk. But from the article it appears that Wal-mart in the us had dropped its hdtv prices some time ago. Seeing as though asda (or tesco) is owned by wal-mart could this mean that we may possibly see a similiar tactic in the uk in the future?

Just wondered what peoples thoughts are on this?

Thanks

There is a massive Asda in Milton Keynes that sells a range of TV’s from leading brands. Have to say though that their prices are at the top end compared to on-line retailers and I could not see any bargins.
