What are you willing to pay? In other words, how much would the AVRX5200W cost you now? The Marantz SR7010 would probably be the closest you'd get to the AVRX5200W in terms of both spec and cost if also wanting DTS:X plus HDCP 2.2. There's no real advantage to owning the AVRX5200W other than its greater power output when compare to the SR7010. The SR7010 has a suggested price of £1,400, but will not be available until October.

I've seen the x5200 for £1000.i currently own a denon avc a1se very old now but still a beast, powering mk thx select speakers in 7.1.watching certain films the speakers can't handle the soundtrack and pop quite badly (heavy action etc) so I was looking at replacing my trusty amp and the front L R and centre speakers but I am unsure of which speakers to use for the new sound formats (I am well out of the loop now lol ) regarding the amp I just wondered if I should wait for dts x or buy now
