    Hi.
I'm looking for a 28" W/S TV to replace my standard bush 28" who's tube died 3 months out of warranty! Needs to be reliable, would prefer it to last a little longer than 27 months this time. Has to be 28" due to space. No cabinet required. £400 is absolute maximum and would prefer a little cheaper if possible, about the only thing I know I want is flat screen, I have 5.1 system and sky so sound and digital not important, all opinions gratefully received.

    Thanks. :)

As I already have a surround system, will this not be overkill, having had
a look this has 3d cinema sound built in??

Am I right in thinking that John Lewis price match to any other
retailer (online or high street) so it's not relevant what they are
charging but how cheap I can find it elsewhere?

I don't have this set myself but I know very well the outstanding picture quality of Sony's 28" IDTVs and Which? magazine's most recent reliability survey put Sony in the top catagory for TV makers .
Try Pricerunner.com for the latest prices but I've seen £389 today.

Not Web Dealers (unless you get lucky!).

Don't forget the 5 year guarantee when comparing prices.

Let us know how you get on.
