Hello there,
My VSX-LX70 does not power up any longer - I just get the MCACC led blinking.
Anyone know of any reset sequence ? Please...

Thanks.

Hi...

I just had this happen to me- it had gone into safety mode.
Lucky mine was in warrenty and they fixed it. They asked me if i had rewired it recently or changed seakers (i had done neither)..

Thanks for your reply.
I hadn't done any wiring changes either.

"safety mode" ... hmm, I wonder if there is a way to reset this or wether it is a case of some damaged part(s).

This used to happen to mine when played at high volume. It turns out that the tweeter driver on my centre channel speaker was on its way out. I identified this by disconnecting each speaker in turn and seeing at what point the amp cut out.
Good luck,
Dave

I wouldn't recommend it!

Applying power to the failed circuit/s will only cause more damage/expense.
