VR headset with no button

Hi guys, got a VR headset, but it does not have a magnetic button which most cardboard apps need. Is there anyone with an iPhone 6s that has bought a headset like this and got around it? Using a controller maybe?

Did you get anywhere with this? I'm curious about Google Cardboard, while they're all cheap I don't want to have a hunk of junk in the house.
I see the Cardboard 2.0 has a "press" button that activates the touchscreen rather than the magnet from previous versions but unless you spend £15 on a posh one they seem thin on the ground.
