Hi,

BT have very kindly sent me a HomeHub 3 in place of my HomeHub 1 as it supports VPN.

I've been told i need to set up a VPN to get the Sky Go app to work outside the UK.

In Idiot speak, can someone tell me how to set it up?

I want to be able to use the Sky Go app overseas as I'm planning to visit friends in California and want to be able to watch Sky, especially Sky sports F1 on race days.

Can some one help?
If so, isntructions need to be like, step 1 do this, step 2 do this ect.

Cheers

Did you get anywhere with this as I wanna do the same. Just recently returned and had to use VPNplus app but didnt work with evrything so looking for more solid solution for my next trip.

Afraid not, still looking, found a VPN program called "Expatvpn" which locks onto a UK IP address so you can watch video from say the BBC website, but it does not fool the SKY Go app my mate in NZ tried it, it got around the geoblock that the BBC have implimented for the Olympics.

I've got the I.T. guy at work on the case.
I can't see the point of the Sky Go app if it can only be used in the UK.

Yeah that's the same outcome I have with the VPN oneclick app I've been using.
So the hunt for a solution continues
