voice recorder for sony hd5

    hi
    i want to be able to record some lectures3-4 hrs a day for a week hence need voice recorder,latest by monday next
    would anyone have an idea as to storage i will need and also is there an adapter for sony hd5 which will be useful
    or else
    would i need ipod and voice recorde attachment i have seen on ebay

    I don't think anyone can help because there are no voice recorder options for the HD5 that I know of.

    Get a MiniDisk, or a Creative Zen, they have mic either built in or plug in. The HD5 can't record which is really annoying, but there are MD's that do a better job at everything anyway.

    Yea, again you'd have to get another type of DAP, but I'd suggest getting a NetMD if you dont wanna spend a lotta money, as they can record, and theyve probably gone down in rpice since HiMd's have come out, or you could get the base model of Hi-Md that has Recording, head over to www.minidisc.org , for model listings and specs.

    would going for mini disc be a step backwards i saw some in my local argos for around 90£
    which of the hard disc mp3 player u reckon will be best for the job

    i have deadline to buy one of these over the weekend
    i looked at mini disc route cheapest i found was sony mz nh 700 for 89.99 in local argos and would need to buy mini discs
    is the hard drive based players better option ,if yes which one particularly
    has anyone got idea what memory is required for about 4 hrs of recording

    can someone please help. ive got s sony himd 700 and i recorded my band onto mini disc but becase of copyrite sonic stage doesnt allow me to upload to my pc. is there another software i can use i really need to get these songs online. thank you, tebbles
