    Check this out :

Does anyone know anything about this product?

I quite like the idea of being able to say a command and have a device operate. I just wonder how good this product actually is. As is do you have to have it right next to your mouth? Is the infra-red beam strong enough to operate your devices (a lot of remotes produces weak signals and need exact line of sight)?

Sounds a good product but would like to hear from someone who as one of these?

    Any thoughts?

    That looks quite cool.

I bet my g/f would still struggle to work it though. :D

I would be very cautious on this type of product. I did some testing on the remote control called the Voice Me, and because this type of product works on frequency; if a sound is here's that is of the same frequency you could end up with the remote turning things on and off. They also do not act well in a room with back ground noise ie, people talking, TV, Radio etc. Which is what the remote is mean't to work with. To give you an example, I had a pet bird and when it squawked, it would end up taking over the remote control!!!

    Kind Regards

Well I did wonder how effective this product was.

I have a pet parrot too and I'm sure he would end up controlling the tv himself :)

Does anyone else have any opinios on this product or any experience of it?

Gotta be worth getting one just for the fun factor of watching that. Also, think of the favour you'd be doing your parrot.

Pay for itself with a video sent to YBF or Kirsty's :D

guess it would be difficult mid-film with the sound pumping out to get it to distinguish between sounds...but if you can get the parrot to give commands to the remote at a given time when you're out that would be cool :D

Don't you teach your girlfriends to not
    a) Talk while the film is on
    b) Interfere with the Man's remote control?
