Vodafones old price plans

Hey all,

Received a letter from Vodafone at the weeekend saying im on an old price plan that is being discontinued. Long story short, they either cut my free minutes & texts and i pay the same, or i chose a more expensive price plan, or i can leave, without penalty. I have had this contract for only 2 months! So i have left! Called today to confirm recepit of my cancellation notice and the guy confirmed it had been received. He also said my cancellation fee WOULD HAVE BEEN £347, yet they are waivering this fee due to THEM changing things. Apparently its 47,000 people being given this letter. Ah well, current contract ends 6th next month and new contract with another network started today, with a shiny new N82.

Bargain, but Vodafone MUST be losing here surely?

I'm getting the same for £25 p/m with a brand new Samsung Soul, & there's me thinking that I got a good deal !

...I got the same letter (am on 200 mins/250 texts for £25 with 6 months to go...). Called them today and they did not even bother suggesting what other tarriffs might be suitable - just told me to write-in and cancel. So, I guess that is what I'll do....

when my contract was up, i told them i didn't wanna upgrade my phone and what deal would they do me for 12 months not 18 months.

he didn't mess about, he said you can have this for £15 a month for 10 months, then it goes back to the normal price (they discounted it), then he said, with 2 months to go, ring up for a new deal as your contract will be up.
