Hi,

We currently have virgin media coming into a control box on the external wall of the house. On the internal side of the wall, there is another control box with a coxial output that would then connects to the Tivo and router. Previously the coxial ran to the other side of the room under the carpet, but we're just changing the floor to laminate, and our builder is not happy keeping the coxial under the floor as it will damage the floor. I'm wondering if there is a wireless solution that I can connect into the control box, which then transmits the signal across the other side of the room to a receiver connected into the Tivo box. Any ideas?

Regards

Sam

You cannot "transmit" the Virgin Media signal wirelessly across a room. Also it is not within their Terms and Conditions to connect any unauthorised devices to their cables for whatever purpose. There are, rather expensive, devices that can transmit the hdmi output of the Tivo box wirelessly leaving it in its present position. You will be looking at around £100-200 to do this.
