It does it on Windows VLC.
I right click on the video and there's a subtitle menu with disable and all the languages.

On Osx I have to stop the video, go to the menus along the top and disable subtitles.
So much quicker with a right click.
I know you can do hotkey S but if on couch with a trackpad and no keyboard near I'd like to do the right click.

Anyone know how to get Osx Vlc to behave like Win Vlc on right click?

Perhaps it's not possible, had a hunt but not any closer.
Perhaps I've overlooked a setting but noone seems to know as yet.
