Hi I'm having a problem with an old plasma tv, was working fine but lately shows only a flashing screen, theres a little noise near the right side of the tv (facing front), I'm gonna bring it to a local tv workshop but i want to know if its fixable or what could be the problem and dont get overcharged....

What you think that it can be (Vizio VP322 Plasma tv), see the video for the actual problem

Hi if it's at the right facing...

It could be the Y sustain board perhaps

Doubt there would be a noise back left, or front right facing from an HDMI board

It looks like the Y sustain, the noise is near the big coil and the power supply/buffers/video control are ok, after doing my troubleshooting and describing the problem to the technician he told me.. yeah, its a common Y-Sus failure, the first step is replacing that component, I'm waiting for the replacement, and sorry the description is wrong, the noise is at the left side (facing front), in the Y-SUS board near the big coil, theres also a clicking noise in the PSU because of the switch-off/flashing, why do you think that the hdmi board its faulty?
