I know to some this will not be a biggie of a problem but HP are now accepting orders for the Vista Upgrade (which when i bought my new laptop it said "FREE UPGRADE")
So going through the process i then find out they want £10.98 + VAT to ship it !
ITS A BLOODY CD/DVD FOR CHRISTS SAKE.
So having wasted £17 on lightscribe cds (the laptop came with loads of lightscribe software pre installed) only to find out the drive isn't a lightscribe and i now have to pay to receive my FREE copy of vista.

    Update :
All together the free update cost £12.90
Yeah its a lot less then paying for it when it availible in the shops but its not free and you can only do it with a credit card and you have to send proof of purchase to them.

To offset the cost, I can possibly buy your lightscribes off you!

How are they describing the "fee" for the upgrade? Presumably, as a S&H fee, if not then have a pop at their customer service. If they described it as "Free" then they'll need a good excuse to charge for it surely.
