Vista Problems with Factory Install

I have 2 Vista Machines.

1 is a custom PC and been working faultlessly for 6 months.

2 is a Laptop PC with loads of rubbish included in the standard installation.

For the laptop could i install vista from my OEM CD and activate using the CD Key from the laptop?? It is so overloaded that there are over 100 Processes activated on startup compared to 30 on my Custom PC.

Yes you can. All Vista DVDs contain all editions of Vista (expect Business). The magic of the WIM file & indexes eh

Also, you can use the 64 bit version with your existing oem product key too, if you like!

I did this on a nice Packard Bell lappy...
