    seems feasible ... connect the 610 to your cable feed and firewire to teh mac, slot the TRex CAM in the back of the 610 ... not sure if you use your viewing card or the TRex one - but if TRex seems you will need to flash the viewing card with a PC/Windows ?

    Anything wrong with a conventional freeview usb stick or can't you get a decent signal or is it particular channels/shows you want to record ?

    Hello there and thanks; would hope to view some of the encrypted channels that come with the virgin subscription and mainly to have use of an iMAC as both tv and computer. Cross posting in the virgin media group seems to suggest might be feasible, in part at least.
    Also would make a more convincing case to buy one, domestic politics afflicts us all:)
