Virgin Radio for PS3 browser

Not that I listen to Virgin but I wish there are more radio stations sites which are compatable with the PS3.

The music streaming is available for PS3 and Wii at the moment, I only wish GalaxyFM would have the same idea.

what makes streaming compatiable ? My Wifes french and we've been trying to play frog radio on the ps3 but it just says put in a media card. You Tube works, so whats the deal with streaming radio, any one know?

I think the website has to have an embedded java/flash player for streaming unlike most websites who use the usual Windows Media Player or Realplayer format which the PS3 won't understand.

Or is this just utter rubbish i've concocted?

I'd love to play my Bassdrive.com stream but it has to open a player (such as Win Media on my PC) for it to play the live music.

I reckon a future update would make radio streaming an option rather than having to use the web browser. With time comes features

That's pretty much it. Also the PS3 browser doesn't support the latest version of Flash either. Hopefully future firmware updates will fix this.
