Didn't see any of the advertised "real" bargains.
They probably only had one item, of each sale title, just to get you in the shop.

Still, did manage to get Duel tin edition for £8.99, Dogma £2.99 and National Lampoons Christams Vacation £2.99.

Did anyone manage to get the Blackadder boxset for £9.99?

Well, I saw loads of good titles in the Edinburgh Princes Street store. Got the following:

Duel tin - £8.99 - no pics, but its a tasteful black and silver metal box
    Ran, 2 disc - £5.99
    Andromeda Strain - £3.99
    Saving Private Ryan - 60th Anniversary Set - £5.99
    French Connection, 2 disc - £4.99
    Bubba Ho-tep, 2 disc - £6.99

You might have to have a wee look away from the sales lot as some of the 2 disc and special edition stuff is actually at the same price as the one disc editions. Of course, some titles are cheaper on line, but the range was much better than some of their previous sales and the prices are fair. Could have spent a lot more!

Yeah! These are still on sale now but the one day sale was meant to have stuff like:
    Alien Quadrilogy £9.99.
Indiana Jones boxset £9.99 (there were lots at £24.99 though).
    Blackadder Boxset (all four) £9.99
    PS2 console £49.99 (lots for £119.99).

Lots of the other stuff was just recycled previous sale stuff.
Like last weeks 3 for £20 offer titles were now £6.99. I did notice that the Walking With (Dinosaurs, Beasts and Cavemen) had been totally removed from the sale.

Nice tin on Duel but it seems very easily scratchable.
