Virgin Media and Humax Box

I currently have a Humax 160GB freeview box with a top up card slot for Setanta. I am thinking of moving my phone and broadband to Virginmedia. TV will be included in the cost.If I did this would I still be able to record using my Humax box. Would I be able to record 2 channels on the humax box whilst watching on Virginmedia.

Are there likely to be any other prblems or issues

I cannot see a problem. Your Humax box will be recording from the aerial, your Virgin media can be tuned to a different channel for you to watch live from the cable. There is no connection between Freeview and Virgin Media.

The humax pvr works off an aerial and is probably connected by scart and will be completely independent from the vm set top box, therefore you will still be able to record 2 programs on it while watching virgin media
