Hi there,
I've been having great problems when trying to setup either my Apple Time
Capsule or Airport Extreme as a router to my 50 mb virgin modem.
The problem is that I can set them up and they will work for a time but
after 3 or 4 reboots of my desktop PC I then lose the LAN connection and it
reports no internet access, so far no amount of trying has managed to regain
a LAN connection unless I reset everything.
I've been on to Apples 2nd line support for over three hours thus far and
still no further forward apart from Apple telling me that I might need to
tell Virgin the Mac addresses of both my Apple products and my computer LAN.
I have to add I use a Belkin N1 Vision router which does the job without
losing the LAN connection at reboots but I'm slowly moving towards Mac's and would like to use their routers which will give me the ability to control IP
addresses on certain Mac addresses.
Has anyone with Virgin experienced similar problems?
