    Are these amps worth it?

My ideia was to use a pair of these using an AV receiver preout to power the front speakers and improve stereo quality...

Are these a valuable option to a Rotel RB 1050 / 1070 or a pair of Marantz MA6100?

A friend of mine tried them and liked them.

There are few Vincent owners here in Portugal.

I think I will try a pair of Sp-996's. They are supposed to "boost" my Mission 753's. I have a Yamaha RX-V757 pre-amp/surround processor.

But; - are they too cheap?

Any online dealers selling these (to Europe)? Any review for anything Vincent? What sort of prices are we talking about here?

Vincent SP996 are quite popular here in the Netherlands, most users are very satisfied with them.

There is even a company that does modifications (clocks and output stages of CD players eg) which is very impressed with them (for the money) and modifies them.

    http://www.soundevolution.nl/home.html

In the menu left go to modificaties -> versterkers 1.

You probably need a online translator to read it. I can give you a synopsis if you want and when I have the time, just let me know.
