I know Uncle Eric has a power buy for the Pioneer 656 but I am still hessitant.

This player is approx £100 more than the Tosh 520 and that also does NTSC Prog Scan.

has anyone viewed them both or can direct me to reviews on both.

Any feedback would be helpful OR should I wait for Phillips 963.

If I go for Tosh or Pionner will I notice an improvement from my old Pionner 525?

    Thanks

Have just replaced my Pioneer 636 with a Toshiba 520 and have noticed a vast improvement.

Well couldn't wait. Went to Leconcepts today and bought 520. having some grub now but will set it up and let you know.

Hope I notice a difference over my Pioneer 525. Will be using svideo to start, good comparison. Later on I will buy some components leads. Any advise as to where to buy. I will need 5-7 mtrs.

Also will need to buy/borrow some region 1 disks to try the prog scan.

    Ho Hum
