Viewing videos on SD card with Pana TX-P42G10B

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX30. It makes videos in AVCHD format, which is exactly what the TV instructions say it requires. But when I put the SD card into the TV and pick movie mode, it tells me it can find no valid files.

Does anyone have any suggestions for why it won't work?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry everyone, tried something else and found the answer for myself I think.

The top setting on the camera is AVCHD Progressive - which it seems the TV is not compatible with. Lowering the quality setting to just AVCHD means that the TV does recognise the resultant video.

Both of these qualities are labelled as 1920 x 1080 though, so what is the difference between them?

AVCHDP id imagine means its 1080p but AVCHD just 1080i
