Probably a silly question, Got Sky Q being installed on Monday and just got a new viewing card in the post.
I take it they don't utilize your existing card then?

I was meant to have an install on Monday but they filed to turn up. That night my old card stopped working on my old box so I had to use the new card. Just slipped it in and it worked, no pairing

It depends on the issue number/version of your existing card - if you have received a new card your old card will probably soon be cancelled.

No, you need to use the new card in the Q box.
Your old one is redundant.
