Quick one which i know most of you will know the answer too.

When watching a dvd with progressive scan and the dvd isn't
a widescreen, i cant change the aspect ratio to 16:9. Do i need
to use a function to stretch the image manually? Also i think
im watching in progressive scan, i.e video set to progressive,
component leads set up, but cant see any options to turn
it on on the plasma. I would imagine i jist picks the signal up automaticaly?

P.s. So dam pleased with the 42" Viera, Set all my contrast, brightess
etc to about 30% of a full bar for a month, then jack em up to a
    comfortable 40-45%.

Now im jabbering, so if someone could answer my above question, then cheers.

Hi Ant., you've got to take it off the component setting (AV4C) to be able to switch aspect, hpe this helps. Happy viewing.
