    Can the panny Viera TV's with DVB receive a terrestial signal, my Father in law cannot receive Freeview and wants to buy a Viera?

    Hi,

    Yup, it appears that it does have a terrestrial tuner, according to the Panny website. Don't be fooled by the statement that it is a HD panel. It seems that this Panasonic will not be able to deal with HiDef broadcasts. Good ordinary TV though, but probably not as good as the Philips PF9986, which has a double terrestrial tuner and is generally brilliant.
