    Hi,
i recently bought a Th42PA30EJ and i'm very happy with it.

    This is my problem:

i have a Denon 3910 , Belden Component and Ixos scart cable.

Component in YUV connections, AV4c...that's fine. The problem come with
dvd's with different aspect rations (to avoid black bars), once you connected through component you cant zoom it.
So i connected the Ixos scart cable from 3910 to AV4. But the problem
is that the scart override the component, even when a try to change from
AV4,AV4s,AV4c....so i had to put it on AV1.

So, i'm not a pro , what i can do to have a nice picture when aspect ratios are not the right ones?

thanks for help and sorry for my bad english.

When both scart and Comp are into AV4 what does the screen show when you select ACV4c?
You cant change the aspect ration on AV4c so theres no use trying.

I don't know much about the Denon. My Panny dvd cannot output RGB and Comp at the same time. Maybe you could check the settings of the dvd and stop RGB taking priority
