Amazon are selling a Video7 30" LCD which has had very minimal reviews on here but Video7 reckon it is HD Ready having component input but no DVI so cant be HD Ready as such.
In the manual it says DVI is optional but if you go back to Amazons web site the desc. states

It also has a VGA and S-Video input, a 21-pin SCART connection, and DVI-Digital and audio line-in connection for hooking up external equipment like DVD players, set top boxes, camcorders and computer consoles.

So if Amazon are selling it with DVI then at £589 with free delivery and a 2 year warranty its a very good price for a HD ready TV, is it not.

If you go into Staples you will be able to view this exact same model but they are selling it for £1000.

it is a very good buy, although i would be happier if it had a built in freeview tuner. Theres about 20 reviews of that product in ebuyer. Just go search it, im looking at this atm. Maybe I'd rather buy a separate digital freeview tuner?

Yes thats where I first saw it and was going to get it off ebuyer until I searched kelkoo and found amazon had it cheaper.

I went staples to view it but they couldnt show me a pic as they had no aerial. It has lots of inputs on the right side but didnt see the left where the DVI is supposed to be as it was tagged.

Mine should be here next week.

If you do order it print off the amazon desc and do a screen grab. If it doesnt have a dvi as described then keep it for a while and then pull them up over it. They wil have to replace or refund.

I bought the 27inch Videoseven model it does not have DVI socket - manual says also optional.
I called videoseven they told me only in Germany. I then called a German dealer no DVI - he called
Videoseven and was told it will de fitted when it made fully HD READY [note this info applies to the 27in]
