Video vs Audio Cables

I have a set of component video cables lying around. Can I use them (two heads) as analogue audio cables for my turntable? General question being, are audio and video cables differ significantly in how they are constructed? I gave it a little go earlier, seemed to work fine! TIA:smashin:

They will be fine.
In fact those with psychosomatic tendencies may hear better audio due to the exended frequency response of video cables versus audio cables :D
(You could call it a "placebo cable")

Thanks. They are indeed fine as I have been given them quite an extended audition now! At my age, even if there was a difference, I likely wouldn't be able to spot it. Other than being 'of a certain age' (for proper Hi-Fi appreciation), I am also placebo challenged:D
