Question Video usage on a DSLR

    Sounds hardly used at all to me :) video is shot with the shutter open all the time so doesn't cause much wear at all. In comparison my shutter count last year was 25k and this year heading for 50k.

    Just checked mine 600d its at 41000 . no problems at all with it..

    I didn't think the shutter count was much as I've read that they have a life expectancy of between 100,000 & 150,000 actuations but I was unsure on how the 50 hours of video was factored into the equation (and even if it has much affect at all)?
