    Hello,

Is the ability to 'upconvert' svideo and composite signals to component (YUV) signals only offered on the Denon 3803 amp?

I've heard that it may also be available on the Sony STRVA555ES, is this true?

I basically want to be able to watch all of my inputs (2*Composite, 1* Component) on both the TV (Composite) and Projector (Component).

I currently have a Denon 3802 which doesn't seem to want to let me do this!!!

    Simon

Not sure about the Sony but on the Denon's it's only available on the 3803 and A1SR.

I don't think it was available on that Sony model. It is on the new 5000 according to the Internet specs, also known as the 'The Ugly Big Box'
