oops, wrong section! Please could you move this to video editing.

Just created a short scene in Movie maker2, saved the file in high quality PAL.
The movie plays fine from HD.

However, my Pio 106 DVD/CD writer isn't recognised by Movie Maker, so I've tried burning in Nero (with MPEG2 plugin) as a SVCD.

The burned disc plays, but whilst the audio plays at normal speed, the video plays at around twice the original speed. Therefore screwing up all the nicely timed musical highlights with those on screen.

I've tried burning a VCD instead, checked the format to burn is PAL, but to no avail.
The disc exhiits the same problem whether playing in Power DVD on the PC or in a standalone DVD player.

Any clues as to what I'm doing wrong?
