I posted this in the Wii forum but I thought I should also post it in the Amp section to see what help I could get :-

'I've got the same problem as everyone else, a Wii and 360 on a 506XDE Pioneer, I've also got the 360 HD-DVD drive, with only 1 component in, I don't mind losing a tiny bit of picture quality when gaming but for the HD Drive I want the best picture possible, I've been following the switching threads very closely and am still not sure which way to go, then I realised that my Yamaha DSP-AX757SE will do the switching (I Think) has anyone tried running both the consoles thru this amp or any amp and will I notice any loss of picture quality'
    Thanks,
    Paul.

you need to check the manual to see if the component input/outputs can handle 720p (and if you have to use it 1080i)

pretty sure your model is new enough that it should switch 720p but cant say for certain....
