Dear All

Can I ask if anyone has tried fitting a 3rd-party aerial to a video sender transmitter? When I first went wireless for internet at home, I had signal strength problems on my 2nd PC, so i bought a Hawking screw in aerial for my Netgear router and things have been much better since. I'm hoping something similar could be done for a wireless video sender (mine is a Philips SLV5400).

Cheers

Andrew

Only easily if the wireless videosender has an antenna socket; in most that I have seen the aerial is integral and not socketed.
If it was socketed you could plug in a directional aerial (e.g. a home made cantenna like I use for WLAN) and point it in the appropriate direction with the correct polarity) .
