This year 'no DV' = 'no sale' for me, it is the the best HDR standard at present.
Hands On With The Panasonic 65EZ1000 OLED TV - Turning OLED Up To Eleven
Glowing report on near black handling
I read elsewhere that motion on the EZ1000 was very smooth so could be a great combination. DV omission could be a mistake.
Let's hope they announce the soundbar as an option, like Pioneer did with their speaker plasmas, so you can just buy the screen for wallmounting, and not have to waste £200-300 on a soundbar you'll never use or need.
Exactly what I was thinking - like the Pioneer 500m
Should be an interesting year; with Pana, LG and Sony all with flagship Oleds!
I agree with that, but you can remove the speaker and just mount the TV, let's just hope you can purchase without the speaker and same some $
Really hope there's a 55".
Suspect there won't be...
Any idea how much the Ez1002 will be?
Somewhere between £6,000 and £8,000 I would imagine.
Yea im guessing 7K
someone on the us site as just posted
"My Panasonic rep just confirmed oleds for new zealand. A few different models as well. No other info."
maybe we will get that 55" model after all...it was hinted at ces that other models may be announced in February at some Panasonic show.
I am pretty sure that this will be the set to take pride of place away from my VT65B. Just no idea what to do with a perfect VT65B......any idea how much I could expect to get for it?
If you don't give it away, you sell it online - ebay you'll probably get £250 for it (though there's a lot of competition for old plasmas from others no doubt upgrading to oled too!) or in the local paper - or... there's this AV Forum I know that has a classifieds section
In recent months they have been selling for £600-£800. Have a look in the classifieds at some archived/completed threads.
