    I have a computer monitor cable embedded in my ceiling and I want to connect an lcd projector to my Yamaha DVD and Amplifier.

    It seems I've got two options;

    1. Run new S-Video cable across the room to connect the two pieces of equipment - this would be messy

    2. Use the monitor cable and XGA input on my projector by purchasing a converter which takes an S-Video signal and converts it to XGA

    The second is my preferred option and I've seen something from Vortex that seems to do the job.

    Has anyone any experience of doing this and if so were the results good?
