I am a big video game player so naturally a good RGB input is essential. Also the ability to disable 100Hz as this tends to cause 'blur-o-vision' with most games.

    Considered -

    Toshiba 32ZP38
    Panasonic TX32PD30

I am not sure if the above sets cater for my needs but the negative reviews on this forum are rather off putting.

    Any other ideas/suggestions?

    Neil.

Both of the sets you listed feature component video inputs which will give even better results than RGB scart. The toshiba has a progressive mode built into it which i think is 50hz if this bothers you.

These two sets are very good but maybe you should consider Loewe as they have high quality control and look super stylish.

    Good luck.

I have XBOX and PS2 connected via RGB on my DX150 sony

the quality is impressive to say the least,
    XBOX especially

I have a gamecube connected via SVHS and its nearly as good as RGB!! I am using DRC50 mode which adds some detail and I can't notice any flicker compared to DRC100 mode.
I was looking at Panny myself but it seems the progressive scan is not ready for primetime esp with games.
