Video from Linux box without wires?

I've just built myself a Linux box which now houses all of my mp3 and video files. I access it using my wireless LAN and transfer files too and from using Samba file sharing on my Mac.

I'm after a wireless video device for the front room that'll connect to the Linux server and play media stored on it .. only really fussed about video. HD would be nice but appreciate wired LAN is better for this purpose anyway.

Which devices can do this? Can machines like the DP-600 connect to a shared windows folder on the server? Or does it use it's own software on a PC/Mac to do this?

Thanks!
